PENN HILLS, Pa.-Turner Dairy Farms is working with the Internal Revenue Service to deliver a message about Earned Income Tax Credits to low income families in Western Pennsylvania.
"Our paper half gallons have proved to be an effective means for the IRS to get their message out about the Earned Income Tax Credit," explains Chuck Turner Jr., president
of Turner Dairy Farms. "Turner Dairy participates in this program because it is important for this region's families to understand and claim the tax credits available to them."
The Earned Income Tax Credit message was printed on approximately 130,000 paper half gallons of Turner Dairy's Vitamin D, 2%, Skim milk and Iced Tea. These containers were in the stores throughout February and March.
