The MOU will further collaboration on efforts related to the environment and dairy.

The checkoff-founded Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, Rosemont, Ill., announced a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
DMI approved six proposals to accelerate product innovation, extend milk’s availability in new channels, and secure additional resources to market fluid milk.

Barbara O’Brien, president of the checkoff-funded Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, said fluid milk “is now at a crossroads” following four decades of declining sales.
“There are solutions,” O’Brien said. “But we need the will and commitment (of the industry) to carry them out.”
I accompanied a delegation from the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy to the White House this week. POTUS was not in the house. Though we did not meet the President Of The United States, the trip was still memorable.
