Halo Top, Le Mars, Iowa, introduced Halo Top Frozen Yogurt Pops, a mix of delicious creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, and real fruit that will have consumers reaching into the freezer every chance they get.
Consumer demand for healthier beverages is not going away. Gut tolerability, the usage of prebiotic fibers and reduced-sugar options are expanding the usage of sweetener solutions that will reduce calories in yogurts, for example, while providing functional benefits.
DFA’s net sales totaled $24.5 billion for 2022, compared to $19.3 billion in 2021, a year over year (YoY) increase of $5.2 billion or 26.8%.

DFA continued to expand its commercial investments in 2022. The Cooperative acquired two
extended shelf-life (ESL) beverage processing facilities, located in Richmond, Ind., and Pacific, Mo.,
from SmithFoods.

Through major expansion, First District Association readies itself for the next century. It invested $200 million to update and expand plant and product capacity so “the cooperative is set up to thrive in the next 100 years,” CEO Bob Huffman relays.
The Decatur plant was previously owned by Prairie Farms.
