Frigo Cheese Heads, a Lincolnshire, Ill.-based brand of Saputo Dairy USA, announced the winning schools in its “Build a Bright Future” program, which is aimed at helping schools improve their learning experience and environment through funding for equipment, materials and renovations. 

Innovative ice cream and cultured dairy products inspired by classic comfort food and international flavors shined this week at the International Dairy Foods Association's (IDFA) annual Innovative Ice Cream Flavor and Innovative Cultured Dairy Product competitions, co-sponsored by Dairy Foods magazine.

Bubbies Ice Cream, Phoenix, introduced new oat-“milk” based mochi varieties, including Red, Ripe Strawberry, Rich Chocolate and Alphonso Mango.

Turkey Hill, Conestoga, Pa., announced the launch of Dipped Duos premium ice cream bars. The bars feature two premium ice cream flavors swirled together in one bar that’s covered in a rich milk chocolate coating.

Albertsons Companies Inc., which has more than 20 well-known banners, including Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's and Acme, said it recently launched three new ice cream offerings under its Signature Select private label brand.

The ice cream is dressed for any party, the Cleveland-based company says.

The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA), Madison, Wis., announced the special guest lineup for its IDDBA 2022 event.

The all-new Mystery Flavor from Turkey Hill Dairy, Conestoga, Pa., is no longer a mystery. Turkey Hill revealed that the mystery flavor is Blueberry Pancake, combining breakfast and dessert “to create a taste so delicious you’ll scoop up seconds every time.”

The treats are real fruit puree smoothies wrapped in a pillowy blanket of mochi dough, the Los Angeles-based company says.

While a traditional sundae cone can have up to 23 grams of sugar, Enlightened’s versions have as few as 6 grams of sugar and 140 calories per cone.
