Cooper Sharp expands to the Midwest

Cooper Sharp cheese is officially expanding into the Midwest.
Shoppers can now find Cooper Sharp sliced fresh at the deli counter in select Meijer stores, primarily across Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland-area suburbs, Toledo, and Central Ohio.
Available now at select Meijer deli counters are two signature varieties: Cooper Sharp Yellow and Cooper Sharp Black Pepper, both offered in 5 lb. deli loaves and sliced to order. Known for its ultra-creamy texture and bold, unmistakable sharpness, Cooper Sharp elevates everything from classic sandwiches and burgers to comfort food favorites. With deep roots in Northeast delis, Cooper Sharp has long been a go-to choice for iconic regional sandwiches, helping set it apart from more traditional deli cheeses.
“Expanding into Meijer is an exciting step for Cooper Sharp as we introduce our cheese to shoppers who may be discovering us for the first time,” said Michelle Spoerl, Brand Manager for Cooper Sharp. “Launching in the deli allows us to showcase Cooper the way it’s meant to be enjoyed: sliced fresh, boldly flavored, and instantly craveable.”
Once a regional staple with deep Northeast roots, Cooper Sharp has seen rapid expansion over the past year as demand for bold, premium deli cheese continues to grow nationwide. That legacy in classic deli and Philly cheesesteak sandwich culture continues to inform the brand’s growth, bringing an authentic Northeast sensibility to new markets.
The Meijer launch marks another important step in Cooper Sharp’s evolution from a regional classic to a cheese that shoppers are seeking out coast to coast.
