Cheetos debuts special flavor in honor of Netflix show Wednesday

The popular Netflix show Wednesday is returning for season two on August 6, and Cheetos has cooked up a new flavor: Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Fiery Skulls.
But Cheetos didn’t bring this new flavor to life alone… it was co-created with Thing. Yes, the disembodied hand and breakout star of Netflix’s Wednesday. Cheetos – the brand known for sponsoring the Cheetle-covered fingertips of celebrities who are leaving their mark on the world – has signed Thing to be the new face fingertips of the brand. Not a spokesperson, but rather a… spokeshand.
The exclusive Wednesday-inspired packaging, available on store shelves on July 28.
“Stirring up a little trouble is what our annual Cheetos fingertip sponsorships are all about - and this year, we’re turning up the mischief with the ultimate partner in crime, Wednesday’s Thing,” said Tina Mahal, senior vice president of marketing at PepsiCo Foods US. “Cheetos fans love a good plot twist, and since many of them see themselves as Wednesday-style outcasts, we knew this chaotic, funny, and perfectly unexpected collab would be a hit just in time for season two.”
