Prairie Farms Dairy acquired the SmithFoods manufacturing facilities in Orrville, Ohio.

Prairie Farms Dairy is an Illinois-based dairy cooperative founded in 1938, and SmithFoods is an Ohio-based family-owned company founded in 1909. The collaboration strengthens the farm-to-table values embraced by Prairie Farms and SmithFoods, Prairie Farms stated.
