Howdy Homemade, whose mission to promote inclusivity and provide meaningful employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), announced a significant expansion of its retail footprint.

Now, customers across Texas and Louisiana can enjoy Howdy Homemade's delicious and purpose-driven ice cream at hundreds of H-E-B and Albertsons Companies Inc. stores. The ice cream is available by the pint at H-E-B stores now, and will be in Albertsons, Tom Thumb, Safeway and Randalls stores starting Sept. 11.

 Pints of six unique flavors, each showcasing a Howdy Homemade Hero on the label, are available in retail stores, including: 

  • Chocolate As All Get-Out: the most chocolatey chocolate with rich fudgy flakes 
  • Cookie Nom’Ster: blue sweet cream with chocolate cookie crumbles 
  • Salted Caramel: ribbons of sweet and salty caramel swirled in a creamy vanilla
  • Strawberry Milkshake: muddled fresh strawberries churned in a vanilla sweet cream
  • Birthday Cake: a party of vanilla cake and rainbow sprinkles mixed in sweet cream
  • Cold Brew & Cookies: creamy coffee infusion with chocolate cookie crumbles
