Sethness Roquette promotes Sujata Malhotra to general manager
Goal to propel company to new heights in caramel colors.
Sethness Roquette is pleased to announce that Sujata Malhotra has been appointed General Manager for Sethness Roquette US, Clinton, Iowa. She takes over this position from Tom Schufreider, who has expertly held this position for the past 10 years and will be retiring, effective Dec. 31, 2023.
Holding both a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Malhotra brings 25 years of industry experience to her new position, which will help propel the company to new heights as a world leader in caramel colors.
Before joining Sethness Roquette US, Malhotra served as director of regional sales at Ingredion Inc. for eight years, and prior to that, worked in procurement at TreeHouse Foods, and held positions in quality, technical services, and sales with Cargill.
A member of the Sethness Roquette US team since August 2022, Malhotra was head of sales and marketing, delivering remarkable results and demonstrating unwavering determination this past year. The company notes that Malhotra’s strong leadership qualities makes her the perfect fit to navigate the challenges of the global market.
