Sethness Roquette North America named Sujata Malhotra its head of sales and marketing.

Malhotra has 24 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and comes to Sethness Roquette from Ingredion Inc., where she spent eight years and, most recently, was the director of regional sales. Prior to Ingredion, Malhotra was in procurement for TreeHouse Foods, a manufacturer of private label products. She has also held positions in quality, technical services, and sales with Cargill.

Sujata holds a master of business administration degree from Capital University and a bachelor of science in biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati. She is serving as president on the board of The Candy Production of Chicago, and she is also on the advisory board for the University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences.

Malhotra lives in Chicago and loves spending time with family, friends, and her dog Shawzy, and she enjoys being on her rooftop where she started a vegetable garden this year. Sujata also enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.
