Anderson-Negele PPR earns FDA letter of conformity
Distinction shows a particular device/system has been found to be compliant within the “Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.” PMO.
Anderson-Negele announced that the FDA has issued its Paperless Process Recorder (PPR) a Memorandum-b. The “Memorandum of Milk Ordinance Equipment Compliance” (M-b) is a letter of conformity that the FDA issues to show that a particular device/system has been found to be compliant with a section or application within the “Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance” PMO.
The Memorandum-b is a significant milestone for the PPR as it gives state dairy regulators confidence that the product meets all PMO (Pasteurized Milk Ordinance) requirements. This reduces the complexity and risk of each state approving a new piece of technology following its own review. The FDA has never issued a Memorandum-b for an electronic recorder/controller to be used in pasteurization applications. With the M-b-383, Anderson-Negele's PPR is now the first and currently only digital recorder and controller to achieve this.
