Chobani launches creamer flavor-creation contest
Fans may submit their dream flavor for a chance to win their share of $100,000 in prize money.
Throughout February, Chobani is inviting its fans to submit the name of their dream Chobani coffee creamer flavor, along with the key ingredients associated with the proposed flavor and a short essay describing how the entrant drew inspiration for the flavor.
For the first time ever, Chobani will give our fans a chance to see the “creamer flavor of their fantasies” on store shelves. Throughout February, Norwich, N.Y.-based Chobani LLC said it is inviting its fans to visit http://www.chobanicoffeecreamer.com/ to submit the name of their dream Chobani coffee creamer flavor, along with the key ingredients associated with the proposed flavor and a short essay describing how the entrant drew inspiration for the flavor.
Chobani’s team will pick three finalists that will be put up to a fan vote this summer on the next Chobani coffee creamer flavor they want to see on shelves in early 2022. The grand prize winner will win $75,000, while the two runner-ups will win $15,000 and $10,000, Chobani said.
Chobani coffee creamer is made from farm-fresh cream that comes from Chobani’s Gree yogurt-making process and, importantly, contains no added oils. Real milk and real cane sugar round out a simple list of five or fewer natural ingredients, Chobani said. Flavors include Vanilla, Cookies & Cream, Peppermint Mocha and Sweet Cream.
