The latest addition to the Matthews Marking Systems’ portfolio is the Mperia A-Series — a compact print-and-apply product line. According to the company, the A-Series provides consistent and precise label placement with configurations for virtually any application. Once applied, the system automatically validates code readability to ensure quality. The A-Series is designed with safety in mind, with minimal moving parts, intelligent controls and safety sensors to eliminate risk to the operator. The latest product line consists of three printer body styles: the D43, T43 and the T63.

SPIRAL-WOUND MEMBRANES

Applied Biomimetic added two membrane products to its solution portfolio: the PS 20,000 and PS 30,000 Dalton molecular weight cut off (MWCO) rated membranes. PHTHALATE-FREE TUBING

NewAge Industries added Clearflo 70 PVC tubing, a phthalate-free product. The company said Clearflo 70 was developed in response to customers’ interest in fluid transfer products that do not contain leachable phthalates such as DEHP (Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate) or BPA (bisphenol A). Some studies indicate that phthalates — chemicals used to make certain plastic materials more flexible and easier to process — may have a negative health impact.
