Duravant LLC, a Downer’s Grove, Ill.-based engineered equipment and automation solutions provider, said it signed an agreement to acquire Motion06 Gmbh, Lengau, Austria, a manufacturer of machines and components for conveyor systems. The transaction is subject to the approval of antitrust authorities.

Duravant said the transaction brings together two global engineered equipment companies with complementary products, applications and connectivity solutions. Both companies have expertise in automation solutions, a commitment to innovation and longstanding industry relationships. By acquiring Motion06, Duravant will expand its ability to deliver material-handling solutions that ensure greater productivity, efficiency and profitability for customers worldwide.
