    Virginia Dare launches new brand identity at IFT16

    The company rolls out new logo, brand identity and product lines at 2016 IFT Show.

    Virginia Dare has been producing flavors and extracts for more than 90 years, and will be debuting a refreshed and evolved brand at the 2016 IFT show in Chicago. Staff from Virginia Dare will hold a press conference on July 18 at 11 a.m. (CDT) in booth 308.

    Since 1923, Virginia Dare has led the market in sourcing and processing extracts through the product line newly designated as the brand’s Taste Foundations platform, which includes premium vanilla, tea, coffee, and cocoa extracts. The company’s long-term relationships with growers are deep, allowing Virginia Dare to uphold the highest standards. Additionally, Virginia Dare’s dedicated technical team promotes preferred taste in healthy and clean label products through flavors and systems for taste enhancement and modulation, grouped under the Taste Collaborations platform. The company works with its partners to develop application-specific Taste Collaborations for every brand.

    “Consumers want products that offer health benefits without compromising taste,” said Michael Springsteen, vice president of business and product development. “Whether it’s removing an off-note with a masking solution or enhancing sweetness without adding sugar, our Taste Collaborations promote better taste without compromising clean labels.”

    Combining its substantial knowledge of sourcing and producing natural flavors with its formulation expertise, Virginia Dare brings together science, market insights and sourcing to create business advantages for its partners. The company’s refreshed brand will more effectively tell that story to better demonstrate its value to the food and beverage industry.

    The new brand will be supported by materials including a new logo, website, marketing and sales materials, and trade show booth — all to be debuted at the show in booth 1226.
