Long Island City, N.Y. - based tea company, Tea In First launched its debut tea, an all-natural, ready-to-drink RTD, spiced chai. The new beverage is made by adding tea first (as the brand name suggests) and is combined with milk and natural spices (cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and black pepper).

The shelf-stable beverage contains 110 calories, 2 grams of fat, 3 grams of protein and 19 grams of sugar per 9.5-ounce bottle. It’s sold for a suggested retail price of $1.99. The tea drink can be found throughout select natural food stores, patisseries and convenient stores in the greater New York City and Boston areas. The company also has its product available for purchase online.

Tea In First is currently in the development stages of additional flavors with a traditional Matcha Latte to be the next flavor available to consumers.
