A new website called “Califarmia” links California’s more than 1500 dairy families to dairy consumers. The California Milk Advisory Board site (www.realcaliforniamilk.com) uses content, images and interactive graphics to give the public an engaging look into modern dairy farming. The site includes videos of dairy farmers, graphics and facts about animal welfare, and recipes using dairy products.

 Visitors can use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube for constant updates. They also can engage with one another by sharing favorite recipes through Pinterest. A downloadable app called the Cali CowChat app allows user to record and send messages to friends through Facebook.
