Symrise AG completed its acquisition of French Diana Group, one of the leading manufacturers of natural flavors. As part of the integration process Symrise will adapt its Flavor & Nutrition business in which Diana will be incorporated.

Prolamina Corp. added a custom-built Totani BH80 pouching machine in its Neenah, Wis., facility. The machine was designed to support the demand for Pro-Pouch, a stand-up pouch which is custom designed with a W-fold or auxiliary gusset and is 100% leakproof with pre-welded fitments. This is Prolamina’s second facility to be tooled with Totanis.

British Retail Consortium, an internationally recognized food safety standard, has awarded SCS Global Services a 5 star "excellent" rating, its highest rating for certification bodies accredited to audit their standard.
