Rita's Italian Ice picks new CEO; Arla Foods finds a new EVP

Restaurant veteran Jeff Moody heads Rita's; Henri de Sauvage Nolting leaves Unilver for Arla.

Rita's Italian Ice selected Jeff Moody as Chief Executive Officer. He will join the company's board of directors. Rita's is the nation's largest Italian ice concept chain with over 600 outlets in 20 states. Moody has been CEO of MetroMedia Restaurant Group (Bennigan's, Steak & Ale, Ponderosa, Bonanza), President of KFC U.S., and a division vice president at Pizza Hut U.S. Rita's also named John Dombroski Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. Most recently, Dombroski served as Chief Financial Officer of Sancoa, and previously held senior finance positions with Hasbro, and Campbell Soup.

Henri de Sauvage Nolting is the new Executive Vice President for Arla Foods in Sweden, replacing replaces Christer Åberg. de Sauvage Nolting was head of Unilever Nordic and has 20 years of experience within consumer products. He will be responsible for the business group Consumer Sweden, including Consumer Finland, and will be a member of Arla Foods’ Executive Management Group.

Madison Lane Sales + Marketing hired Anna McClain as Corporate Account Manager. Her primary focus will be to represent and manage lines of perishable and specialty food products for chain accounts including Fred Meyer, QFC and Murray’s Cheese shops throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

Ingredient supplier Chr. Hansen named Christian Barker its Executive Vice President for the Health & Nutrition division. Barker joined the company in May 2012 as Corporate Vice President for Corporate Strategic Development. No decisions regarding his succession have been made at this point. Barker replaces Henrik Dalboege, who will be leaving Chr. Hansen on Sept. 30.


Bill Otter	Bill Statham

At Separators Inc., Bill Statham was hired as Vice President of Operations to replace Joe Mansfield who is retiring at the end of 2013. Bill Otter was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Separators is a supplier of centrifuge services, parts and remanufactured equipment.

Harry D. Seibert is the new Head of Sales for the United States at Mettler-Toledo Safeline, a maker of metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment.

Iris Thomas of CDF Corp., Plymouth, Mass., was elected to the Petroleum Packaging Council’s Board of Directors., Thomas is product manager of Cheertainer bag-in-box, The Council is provides technical leadership and education to the petroleum packaging and blending industry.
