Franklin Foods introduces industry’s first Greek spreadable cheese
Franklin Foods, Enosburg Falls, Vt., makers of the first Greek yogurt-based cream cheese have announced the launch of the industry’s first Greek Spreadable Cheese.
Made with a combination of farm fresh dairy and Greek yogurt, the Greek Spreadable Cheese is made in small batches in Enosburg Falls, Vt. It contains three times the protein and 50% less fat than traditional spreadable cheese, plus live and active cultures, according to the company.
The spreadable cheese is available in Cucumber Garlic, Garlic & Herb, Roasted Red Pepper and Sundried Tomato flavors. It’s sold in 6.5-ounce containers for a suggested retail price of $3.99 to $4.59.
The cheese is available this summer and can be found in the dairy and refrigerated deli sections at grocery stores nationwide.
