SPX released new metal detectable mutator blades for its Votator scraped surface heat exchangers from the Waukesha Cherry-Burrell brand. Available on new units or as a retrofit part to existing units in the Votator II, Votator and Cherry-Burrell Thermutator series, the blades will be available in a range of metal detectable plastics. Using plastic rotor blades produces less wear on the heat exchanger tube, therefore extending its life and reducing its maintenance requirements.
