DSM Nutritional Products, Kaiseraugst, Switzerland, reached agreement with Swedish Oat Fiberto acquire the OatWell brand beta glucan ingredient portfolio. DSM assumes the sales, marketing and other related commercial activities from SOF subsidiary CreaNutrition, Zug, Switzerland.

The design-build firm Haskell, Jacksonville, Fla., acquired Seiberling, an engineering and technical consulting company based in Beloit, Wis. Seiberling provides process, clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) design and control system integration services to the food, dairy, pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Intelligrated, Mason, Ohio, held a grand opening of its 122,000-square-foot headquarters expansion. With a combined area of 262,000 square feet, the headquarters will accommodate an ongoing increase in engineering, research and development staffing. Urschel Laboratories Inc. U.S.A.Valparaiso, Ind., plans to build a 350,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in nearby Chesterton. The company said it expects to break ground in the spring and construction will be completed in 2015.

Nelson-Jamesonbroke ground in December 2012 on a 20,000- square-foot warehouse addition with completion expected in early fall this year. The expansion will be connected to the existing warehouse and will bring the total warehouse space in Marshfield, Wis., to approximately 2.2 million cubic feet.
