Schneider Packaging Equipment acquires S&R Machinery
S&R Machinery is a supplier of random and uniform case sealers. Schneider specializes in end-of-line solutions for case packing and palletizing.
Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Brewerton, N.Y., said today it acquired the assets of S&R Machinery, a supplier of random and uniform case sealers based in Olyphant, Pa. Schneider specializes in end-of-line solutions for case packing and palletizing.
“The addition of S&R’s random and uniform case sealing machinery expands our standard equipment portfolio and also complements our existing line of case packers and palletizers,” said Schneider president, Richard Schneider. “S&R’s random case sealing technology enables us to provide a broader set of packaging equipment solutions to a wider market.”
Equipment from S&R Machinery includes the SR5000 high speed fully automatic random case sealer (available in both pressure sensitive tape and hot melt glue models) and the SR3000 series automatic uniform case sealer.
Schneider manufactures a complete line of case erectors and sealers, case packers, tray packers, specialty cartoning systems, robotic palletizing and completely integrated packaging solutions. The company also offers a variety of ancillary equipment such as case erectors, cartoners, conveyors, pallet dispensers, shuttle cars, automatic guided carts, and elevators that can easily be integrated with coding/labeling equipment, RFID / barcode scanners, weight checking, and stretch or shrink wrapping equipment to provide a complete turnkey system solution.
