co-chairman and chief executive officer of the Canada-based frozen-desserts
manufacturer, following the death of co-chairman and co-CEO Richard Smith.

Lerner, M.D., to its board of directors.

— David Butterfield has joined the
LaFarge, Wis.-based cooperative as regional sales manager for the upper
Midwest.

B&H Labeling Systems — Bruce Andrade has been appointed vice president of
operations for the Ceres, Calif.-based company.
Fogg Filler Co. — Alistair Pyers has joined the Holland, Mich.-based company

Fort Dearborn Co. — Timothy Trahey has been appointed chief financial officer
of the Niles, Ill.-based company.
Fristam Pumps USA — Mick Williams has joined the Middleton, Wis.-based
company as purchasing manager.
Multivac Inc. — Mark Hammelrath has joined the Kansas City, Mo.-based
company’s food division as market development manager, and Ben
Eastman and Jason Green have been named regional sales managers, both
promoted from within the company’s sales organization.

OBITUARIES
SPI Polyols Inc. — Jerry Roland, 47, marketing director of the New Castle,
Del.-based company, died March 3 of liver cancer. Roland worked his entire
career in the food industry, holding positions at Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola,
Pfizer/Cultor/Danisco and Omega Tech. He was a member of IFT and
also worked within PMCA and IDFA.
