In controlled research studies focusing on a wide variety of food systems, VersiLac successfully replaced up to 100% of non-fat dry milk, and at least 25% of both sugar and cocoa in select bakery, confectionary and beverage applications. Considering the rising cost of corn and corn-based ingredients, VersiLac also demonstrated exceptional versatility in replacing dextrose, maltodextrin, or corn syrup solids.
