After weeks of hard campaigning, candidate debates and, yes, a little yogurt-slinging, the people have decided. Voters have chosen Pomegranate Berry as the official winner of Stonyfield Farm’s Flavor Election. And one lucky voter will win a year’s worth of delicious Stonyfield Farm organic yogurt, just for casting one of the 28,000 votes counted.

“Let’s hope the results of our national elections are as satisfying as our Flavor Election,” said Gary Hirshberg, Stonyfield Farm president and CE-Yo. “People want their vote to count, and Pomegranate Berry promises rich, creamy, fruity flavor, made with the goodness of organic milk and including our exclusive blend of natural probiotic cultures – good tasting and good for you, too!”

A special election website included candidate profiles and captured the candidates debating the issues, moderated by “cow-mentator” Katie Cowlick. Coming up short, but still attracting plenty of votes were nominees White Chocolate Raspberry, Dulce de Leche and Pina Colada.
