On June 5, Dairy Foods had the opportunity to enjoy plenty of ice cream and tour Tillamook County Creamery Association’s (TCAA) first ice cream plant outside of its sprawling headquarters in Tillamook, Ore. 

The project will create 166 new jobs. 

Since its founding in 1933, Whitey’s Ice Cream has been bringing “a lick of joy and fun” to thousands of customers in the Quad Cities area (Rock Island and Moline in Illinois and Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa). 

With 175 years under its belt, dairy giant HP Hood LLC knows a thing or two about making dairy products. It operates 13 plants across New England to create its numerous product lines.
