Eleven dairy leaders have earned individual honors from Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) for outstanding contributions to the dairy processing industry.

Following the Opening Keynote on Wednesday, April 15, WCMA and leading industry education partners will offer three concurrent seminars, focused on the latest ideas and innovations tailored to dairy processors.

The event is set to take place April 14-16, 2026, at the newly renovated Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wis.

The funds support industry training programs offered by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA), as well as the World and U.S. Championship Cheese Contests and university dairy training centers. 

CheeseExpo, a biennial event hosted by Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) and the Center for Dairy Research (CDR), returns from April 16 to 18 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wis. 

Sumeet Mathur, Managing Director of FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy Americas, shares the Dutch cooperative’s learnings at the cutting edge of dairy sustainability. 

CheeseExpo 2024 kicks off on Tuesday, April 16.

April event to feature education seminars, special events and networking opportunities.

The event, slated for April 12-14 in Milwaukee, will feature more industry education and a record number of exhibits. 

The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) board of directors selected 12 individuals to be recognized next year at CheeseExpo in Milwaukee for their outstanding work in the dairy processing industry.
