Häagen-Dazs, a brand of Vevey, Switzerland-based Nestlé, unveiled two new flavors: New York Strawberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Caramel Pecan. The cheesecake flavor is inspired by Rose and Reuben Mattus, who founded the ice cream brand in 1960.
Almonds for yogurt toppings, snack bars and cereals will be processed at this plant.

Blue Diamond opened the doors to a new plant in Turlock, Calif., on Tuesday, June 18. The phase 1 expansion will meet growing global demand from yogurt processors and other food companies for almond ingredients.
Kimberly Breedlove, director of research & development at Pecan Deluxe Candy Co., Dallas, knows that a truly transcendent inclusion is worth hunting for.
