The Women’s Alliance recognizes women from the food and beverage industry in a variety of categories for their achievements.

Also, FPSA members during its annual meeting elected new leadership to its Beverage Council with John Piazza of Alfa Laval as Council Chair, and Michael Mas of JBT Corporation as Vice Chair. Further, Cara Godack was elected to the FPSA Board as Chair of the Network Leadership Team, as was Bob Grote in an At-Large position.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association’s (FPSA) Dairy Council said it awarded three $3,500 scholarships that will be used toward completing the winners’ respective degrees within the dairy or food science disciplines.
The funds generated from the FPSA auction support a variety of worthy charitable causes, including scholarships, veterans’ groups, university research and training, and employment of the underserved.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), McLean, Va., said it will host the 2021 FPSA auction virtually with guest auctioneer James Cunningham as a result of the cancellation of its 2021 annual conference.
The $3,500 scholarship was created in late 2020 by the FPSA Dairy Council and is named in memory of founding council member and former publisher of Dairy Foods magazine, Tom Imbordino.

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) said it opened the application period for the inaugural Tom Imbordino Memorial Dairy Science Scholarship to deserving students studying dairy or food sciences at universities throughout North America.
Imbordino led Dairy Foods magazine for almost two decades.
