Jamba Inc. introduces its all-natural Smoothies line which is sold in grocery stores. Users add juice to a nonfat yogurt base available in four flavors. The company offers a $1 coupon toward the purchase of any 8-ounce SKU.
 
Kraft’s Breakstone’s makes the bold claim: “Our new cottage cheese can beat up your yogurt.” A secondary headline states: “8 grams of protein. Beat that.” The marketer offers a 75-cent coupon toward the purchase of any three doubles SKUs and $1 toward the purchase of any four-pack SKU.
 
T. Marzetti Co. promotes its new Otria veggie dip made with Greek yogurt, available in five flavors. The FSI mentions the dip’s Omega 3 content. The company offers a $1 coupon toward the purchase of any Otria SKU. Separately, Marzetti directs shoppers online for recipes calling for its blue cheese salad dressing.


In other activity

Unilever takes a multipage event called “Small Actions. Big Difference.” to promote its support of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The company will donate $250,000 to the organization. Dairy brands mentioned include premium Magnum ice cream stick novelties made with Belgian chocolate; Breyers Blasts ice cream made with candy inclusions, including Oreo, Reese’s and Snickers; and Country Crock spread.
 
Sargento shows its Natural Baby Swiss cheese, stating the deli-style sliced cheese is “always real. Never processed. Taste the real difference.”
 
Mars Inc. proclaims “Big cheese flavor in every bite!” of its Combos snacks. It directs shoppers to its Facebook page.
 
Abbot Laboratories dangles a $2 coupon toward the purchase of any PediaSure SKU. The children’s nutritional supplements are made with milk protein concentrate and whey protein concentrate.
