Tom Korte is director of sales at Rodem Inc.
He has been with Rodem since the mid-1970s when his high school friend’s father, and founder of Rodem, Bob Diener, hired him as a part-time delivery person. In 1979, following college, he returned to Rodem where he worked in outside sales before becoming part of Rodem’s management team.
In his current role as Director of Sales, Tom is responsible for overseeing the account managers and growing the company’s sales portfolio. As a true service-oriented leader, he lends countless years of technical expertise to his team to ensure their success. Tom has successfully cultivated long-lasting relationships with employees, vendors, and customers alike through his hard-working, fun-loving, and humble approach. His contributions reach beyond the Rodem sales department as he serves on the company’s Vendor Management Team where he expertly negotiates with Rodem’s key manufacturing partners. Unofficially he is a sounding board and mentor for Rodem employees and industry members.
Tom earned his degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. Notably, Tom was also the first non-family member to join the Rodem team.
