Syed Aman is the Founder and CEO of Hwy Haul, a next-generation digital freight platform that connects fresh produce shippers with reliable truckers to eliminate intermediary friction and deliver sustainable, reduced waste, and business-class shipping experience. Before starting Hwy Haul, Aman was the director of supply Chain at Walmart, where he successfully led and delivered various logistics and transportation products and brought them to scale. He was instrumental in laying the foundation of Walmart’s online grocery platform and scaling it to a multi-billion dollar top line. When he first joined Walmart, he was chosen as one of the founding engineers of WalmartLabs, the new-age digital arm of the company. Prior, Aman traveled internationally to spearhead warehouse automation and implemented robotics for various Fortune 200 companies in Europe, Asia, and North America, including GAP, Target, Samsung, and Avery Dennison. In his previous positions, Aman noticed changes in consumer eating habits including moving towards fresh and organic products and pushing for e-commerce. This experience inspired him to start a company that will modernize the supply chain and adjust to consumers’ changing needs. Aman holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
