Engwall named Carr Valley Cheese's managing director

Carr Valley Cheese named Heather Engwall as the company’s managing director. Sid Cook, Owner and Master Cheesemaker, will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board. Engwall, along with the company’s senior leadership team, will focus on continued growth, quality assurance and national brand recognition.

Heather Engwall brings more than 25 years of experience in the dairy industry. She most recently spent the past decade as vice president of Marketing at Emmi Roth, where she led brand strategy and marketing initiatives that strengthened the company’s leadership in specialty and artisan cheese. Earlier in her career, Engwall held multiple roles promoting Wisconsin cheese and dairy at Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, formerly the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
