Lifeway Foods showcases probiotic salad dressings and whole milk kefir expansion

Lifeway Foods Inc. unveiled new probiotic salad dressings and conventional whole milk kefir flavors at Natural Products Expo West at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., March 4-7.
Expo West visitors were among the first to see the new probiotic items, indulge in creative recipes including kefir parfaits, and sample a variety of sweet and savory farmer cheese appetizers which showcase the brand’s versatility, protein content and flavor, the company says.
The Morton Grove, Ill.-based company's recently released Lactose-Free Flavor Fusions and Probiotic Smoothies + Collagen were also highlighted.

Available in Plain, Peach, Strawberry Banana and Mixed Berry, the whole milk kefirs contain 30 billion colony-forming units (CFUs), 12 probiotic cultures and 10 grams of protein and are available nationwide in 32-ounce bottles. Lifeway's new line, Kefir Dressing contains 10 grams of protein and fermented live and active probiotics. It is available in 8-ounce bottles in four flavors: Seemingly Ranch, Green Goddess, Dreamy Caesar and Avocado Chipotle.
