AIRLOCK FOR HYGIENIC APPLICATIONS

The Global Hygienic Blow-Through Airlock (GHB) from Coperion is a dismountable airlock that is ideal for applications where dry raw or finished products are being handled in the process, according to the company. The USDA dairy-certified airlock is also for applications where inspection or system clean-out are required. Because the GHB is designed for high process rates, it offers various features suited for processes that have a higher sanitary requirement. Key features include an oversized rotor shaft that creates a naturally radiused rotor pocket for more complete product release, and differential pressure up to 1.5 barg that is possible without manipulating standard design or clearances. An available design for NFPA 69 blocking valve requirements, FDA and EC 1935/2004-approved materials of construction in product contact areas, and an integral rail system for its endplate and rotor are also included.

ASEPTIC SAMPLING DEVICE

QualiTru’s TruDraw Sterile Single Sampler is a practical, easy-to-use alternative to syringes for aseptic sampling. Classified as a collection device, it avoids recent syringe tariffs, making it a reliable choice in today’s market, the company says. Each sampler is packaged with an 18g needle and tamper-evident cap, supporting leak-proof, contamination-free collection and maintaining chain of custody. Designed for convenience, TruDraw improves workflow by reducing the need for sample transfers. It meets Grade A PMO standards for bacterial safety and is compatible with Fossomatic and MilkoScan equipment, ideal for small, efficient sampling, the company says.
