PROCESS SENSOR FOR HYGIENE AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Baumer's PP56 process sensor offers maximized performance in a miniaturized housing. With the highest precision in its class and guaranteed for 3-A sanitary standards, FDA-compliant, and EHEDG-certified, companies can trust the PP56 sensor for demanding hygiene and industrial applications like hydrostatic level detection and pressure monitoring and measurement. A large touch display can be set to color-coded backlights, letting users see from a distance if values are OK or not. With the PP56 sensor, the company claims that monitoring and visualizing data has never been easier.

    ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BURNER SOLUTIONS

Clayton Industries is committed to environmentally friendly options on all of its products, focused on lowering both fuel usage and emissions. The company’s latest change to its newest product, The Clayton Steam Master, is another example of that commitment. The company has eliminated its standard burner in favor of a high efficiency, Low Nox configuration. Equipped with PLC controls for precision combustion, the line of burners reduce emissions to below 10 parts per million, at no additional cost. The company says this will be its standard configuration going forward, as part of its ongoing commitment to support environmentally friendly solutions.

    AIRLOCK FOR HYGIENIC APPLICATIONS

The Global Hygienic Blow-Through Airlock (GHB) from Coperion is a dismountable airlock that is ideal for applications where dry raw or finished products are being handled in the process, according to the company. The USDA dairy-certified airlock is also for applications where inspection or system clean-out are required. Because the GHB is designed for high process rates, it offers various features suited for processes that have a higher sanitary requirement. Key features include an oversized rotor shaft that creates a naturally radiused rotor pocket for more complete product release, and differential pressure up to 1.5 barg that is possible without manipulating standard design or clearances. An available design for NFPA 69 blocking valve requirements, FDA and EC 1935/2004-approved materials of construction in product contact areas, and an integral rail system for its endplate and rotor are also included.

    ASEPTIC SAMPLING DEVICE

QualiTru’s TruDraw Sterile Single Sampler is a practical, easy-to-use alternative to syringes for aseptic sampling. Classified as a collection device, it avoids recent syringe tariffs, making it a reliable choice in today’s market, the company says. Each sampler is packaged with an 18g needle and tamper-evident cap, supporting leak-proof, contamination-free collection and maintaining chain of custody. Designed for convenience, TruDraw improves workflow by reducing the need for sample transfers. It meets Grade A PMO standards for bacterial safety and is compatible with Fossomatic and MilkoScan equipment, ideal for small, efficient sampling, the company says.
