JBT’s Proseal launched a fully automated case de-stacker solution to compliment and maximize the efficiency of its market leading case packing range of equipment.

The all-new CDS Case De-Stacker significantly reduces the duty on operators loading cases into fully automated case packing machines and reduces the repetitive manual handling demand by automatically de-stacking cases and delivering them to the case packing machine, the company says.

Additionally, the CDS is designed to de-stack both RPC and cardboard cases of all standard sizes in either orientation on the same machine, utilizing quick change tooling and a recipe driven control system. It also matches changeover speed delivered by the case packing range that takes less than a minute to change product. The length of the feed conveyor also can be configured to suit any application, the company adds.

The company points out that its commitment to innovation and efficiency is apparent with the launch of its CDS Case De-Stacker. That’s because automating the de-stacking process not only complements its award-winning case packing equipment, but it’s revolutionizing packaging efficiency.

The CDS can deliver up to 35 cases per minute to match the most demanding of applications and can also be used to deliver single or multiple stacked cases to manual packing lines and existing automated packaging equipment.
