Unilever launches Culture Republick probiotic ice cream line
The new brand aims to support culture in everything it does.
Unilever, Englewood Cliffs, N.J., introduced Culture Republick, said to be the first premium light ice cream brand with probiotics “on a mission to support culture both inside and out.” The new brand collaborates with emerging artists to design each pint; 10% of the brand's profits will support the arts in local communities, with all charitable donations made possible by the Unilever Foundation.
Each pint of Culture Republick ice cream contains 3 billion live active cultures. The product is available in seven flavors, including Milk & Honey, Turmeric Chai & Cinnamon, Cold Brew & Chocolate Chip; Pistachio & Caramel, Lemon & Graham, Chocolate & Cherry, and Matcha & Fudge. A 2/3-cup serving of the Milk & Honey variety (sweet cream light ice cream swirled with wildflower honey) has 147 calories, 7 grams of fat, 15 grams of sugar and 5 grams of protein.
