Dippin' Dots, a Paducah, Ky.-based ice cream processor, said it launched the “Change Your World” contest, which invites students, teachers and community members to nominate a school they think is making a positive impact on the world.

The contest is now accepting applications through noon Central Time on Sept. 28, 2018, at www.dippindots.com/changeyourworld. Any school or school group making a difference — whether through fundraisers, support programs or activities that encourage kids to achieve their best — can be nominated.

Dippin' Dots said it will choose one lucky winner to receive a Dippin' Dots party for his or her entire school. The grand prize includes enough Dippin' Dots products to serve each enrolled student at the winning school.

"Education is the cornerstone of our society, and we recognize the time and effort that goes into creating a positive change.
