Flavorchem reveals $4 million investment in new equipment
The ingredient company met with a congressman and business leaders to discuss tax reform benefits and workforce development priorities for securing Illinois’ economic prosperity.
Flavorchem Corp., Downers Grove, Ill., and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), Washington, D.C., hosted Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Ill.) for a facility tour at Flavorchem along with a business leader roundtable on July 2. The group discussed the real-world impact of tax reform and other ways Congress could better serve the interests of Illinois manufacturers, workers and their families, NAM said.
During the visit, Flavorchem announced a previously undisclosed $4 million investment in new equipment made possible due to the tax reform law enacted last year. Roskam was able to view a new state-of-art spray dryer and air pollution control device while touring the facility, NAM said.
