Grass-fed dairy is one of 5 food trends from the Fancy Food Show
Look for protein, crickets, grass-fed dairy and beef, Southeast Asian flavors and purple foods on store shelves near you.
Dairy foods made with milk from grass-fed cows is a trend this year, according to food writers who attended the 2016 Winter Fancy Food Show this week in San Francisco. Other trends are snacks made with crickets, fusion flavors and purple-colored foods.
The Fancy Food Show is owned and produced by the Specialty Food Association, which calls it the largest marketplace devoted exclusively to specialty food on the West Coast. Dairy Foods Ingredients Editor Kimberly Decker attended the show. We will feature some of the new products she saw in the weeks to come.
