Umpqua Dairy creates new ice cream flavor in pink carton for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

    October 9, 2015

Milk and ice cream manufacturer Umpqua Dairy Products, Co., Roseburg, Ore., created a limited-edition ice cream flavor (huckleberry cheesecake) for October and is packaging it in a special pink round carton to benefit breast cancer research. October is designated Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Umpqua said it will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this ice cream to local Susan G. Komen Affiliates. The ice cream is available throughout the Western United States. Susan G. Komen is the world’s largest breast cancer organization. Umpqua Dairy Products is a third-generation family-owned dairy processor located in southern Oregon.
