With consumers continuing to lead on-the-go lifestyles, snacking is important. Snacks that contain high protein are in demand — which makes dairy snacks ideal. So, this month Dairy Foods is asking readers:

Last month, we asked – Assuming that vanilla, chocolate or strawberry are your first choice (as they are for many ice cream lovers), what is your second choice for ice cream?

The results are in:

Sea salt caramel is the winner! The poll revealed that 16% (with 40 votes) of you named sea salt caramel as your favorite second choice for an ice cream flavor. Following very closely behind that was mint chocolate chip (with 39 votes), also at 16%. Butter pecan received 13% of the vote and cookie dough had 12%. Fudge brownie rounded out the top five with 10% of voters choosing this as their second favorite flavor choice.
