Trough system: Fogg Filler
Fogg Filler has introduced a semi-automatic one-way recovery trough system for its smallest fillers, the model F4.1. This feature was previously offered on the company’s larger machines. The new system is said to make cleaning the filler faster, easier and more cost-effective. In most cases, an operator can clean the machine in place without adding or removing any hardware by simply touching a button. This enables a processor to increase the amount of bottles filled, decrease the amount of cleaning time, labor costs and operator contact with filling valves, which also increases sanitation. The recovery system reclaims product in a sanitary manner, which enables a processor to reuse the product instead of letting it go to waste.
