    Calorie-free iced chai

    June 28, 2011
The Tazo Zero Calorie Iced Tea line, which initially launched in spring 2010 with three consumer-favorite flavors  - Passion, Refresh and Zen - has grown more than 20% in natural channels, according to Portland, Ore.-based Tazo Tea, a part of Starbucks Corp., Seattle.

Responding to this growing interest, Tazo is introducing a fourth flavor, Zero Calorie Tazo Iced Chai, the line’s first black tea offering.

As with all Tazo teas, the Zero Calorie Tazo Iced Tea line is made with real tea leaves and botanicals that are blended by the company to ensure quality and flavor consistency. The drinks are sweetened by the all-natural high-intensity sweeteners erythritol and rebaudioside A, a stevia-derived ingredient. Tazo Zero Calorie Iced Teas are available at Whole Foods Markets and select natural food stores nationwide.
