Minnesota-based Delkor Systems, a leading manufacturer of automated end-of-line packaging systems, has qualified as a machine builder partner in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork program. Delkor’s participation marks an important milestone in a long working relationship between Rockwell Automation and Delkor, one that will continue to result in packaging machines with increased operational flexibility and lower cost of ownership. Delkor’s equipment is used by packagers in the dairy, bakery, confectionery and refrigerated food markets as well as by systems integrators that need secondary packaging solutions.

“By participating in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork program, Delkor will be able to deliver end-of-line packaging systems that enable our customers to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage in their industries,” says Dale Andersen, Delkor president and CEO. “Through collaboration with automation experts in the network, we will be able to improve our packaging machines’ time to market and gain access to innovative technologies, ongoing technical support, and update information that will make our equipment even easier to install, operate and maintain. Also, by standardizing components across different machine models, we will be able to provide a higher level of customer support and better coordination with local suppliers of Rockwell Automation products.”

Delkor uses Allen-Bradley products from Rockwell Automation in its machines, including ControlLogix and CompactLogix control systems. Through the PartnerNetwork program, Delkor will focus on engineering consultation with network experts to help design machines with extensive Rockwell Automation content.
