The Foundation of the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS) has awarded two annual $10,000 V. Duane Rath Graduate Research Fellowships.

McLEAN, Va.—The Foundation of the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS) has awarded two annual $10,000 V. Duane Rath Graduate Research Fellowships to Kendra Kerr Nightingale of Cornell University and Lisa Papageorge of North Carolina State University. Nightingale and Papageorge were chosen from among 20 graduate student applicants for the Rath Fellowships. The awards are to be presented to Nightingale and Papageorge on March 22 at the IAFIS 2003 Annual Conference in Marco Island, Fla. Also, The M.E. Franks Scholarship Program awarded six scholarships of $3,000 each to three undergraduate and three graduate students in its 11th annual competition.
