Featuring festive food, a robust cattle judging contest, educational seminars, career connections and a large exhibitor hall with more than 700 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technology and the latest dairy equipment, the 57th Annual World Dairy Expo (WDE), taking place Oct. 1-4 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis., was buzzing with activity around the theme, “The Golden Age.”

Prairie Farms received more awards than any other company.

During her career, she has held marketing and communications positions with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, The Cattle Connection, Ag Source Cooperative Services and World Dairy Expo. 

Organizations, academic staff, producers and others involved in the dairy industry are encouraged to nominate individuals to recognize their outstanding work and dedication to the dairy industry.

This year's contest received a record number 1,560 entries for cheese, butter, fluid milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, ice cream, sour cream, sherbet, cultured milk, sour cream dips, whipping cream, whey and other products from dairy processors throughout North America
