Karen McCarty of Agropur was recognized with the International Dairy Foods Association’s (IDFA) 2026 Food Safety Leadership Award during IDFA’s Dairy Forum.

The 100% perfect rating comes in the first audit of the Jerome strategic distribution center, which opened in 2024. This perfect score is the fourth straight for Nelson-Jameson in the past year across all distribution centers.

The highly anticipated educational experience for food industry professionals will feature over 20 interactive sessions, workshops, and certification courses designed to address the most pressing food safety challenges and provide actionable solutions. 

The PAD20 is capable of detecting even tiniest gas bubbles in liquids, thus maximizing resource efficiency, food safety and overall equipment effectiveness, the company said. 

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) recognized 25 dairy business operations for their outstanding achievements and improvements in worker safety in 2022, honoring them with the IDFA Dairy Industry Safety Recognition award. 

Winners will also appear in the September issue of Dairy Foods.
