PACK EXPO celebrated its 30th anniversary with the largest event in history, featuring over 1 million square feet of exhibit space and more than 30,000 attendees. Held by PMMI, the show welcomed over 2,300 exhibitors and 50,000 professionals, showcasing numerous products for dairy processors.

The board of directors of the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) said Peggy Davies was named acting president of the association.

Brian Sharoff, president of the New York-based Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), passed away on May 23 after a brief illness, according to a statement issued by Tim Simmons, PLMA’s vice president, communications.

PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, said it ushered in the new decade with a new executive committee, naming Emmanuel Cerf, vice president, Polypack Inc., chairperson of the board and Patty Andersen, vice president of human resources and after-market services, Delkor, as vice chairperson.
